David Evans comes from New Orleans where for seven years he led the band on the National Historic Landmark Steamboat Delta Queen. He performed with Pete Fountain, B. B. King, Mose Allison, Nicholas Payton, Brian Blade, Johnny Vidacovich, Gladys Knight, Johnny Mathis, and many others. Locally he has performed or recorded with Art Abrams, Dan Balmer, Mel Brown, Dee Daniels, Dave Frishberg, Darrell Grant, Tom Grant, Rebecca Kilgore, Nancy King, Joe La Barbera, Bob Magnusson, Shirley Nanette, Randy Porter, Jean Ronne, Ron Steen, Bobby Torres, Chris Tyle, Mike Wofford, Lee Wuthenow, Tall Jazz and many others.

Bryan has played in several Jazz, Rock, and Symphonic bands, Musical Theater and just about everything else. He's had the opportunity to learn from and play with a wonderful variety of musicians over the years, and loves having the opportunity to pass along some of what he's learned to the kids in this program.
