Welcome to the WLHS Band and Orchestra program. I am looking forward to working with all of you this coming school year, and I know that together we will create some great music. The WLHS instrumental music programs have achieved great success. You can all be proud to be a part of this program and I know that you will not only enrich your own education through the study of music but enrich others’ lives with your performances.
Please take a minute to read through the Welcome Packet, as it contains much information regarding curriculum, rehearsal procedures, concerts and athletic games, grading policy, uniforms, school instrument usage, field trips, fund raisers, email communication, etc.

Calendar
The WLHS Band and Orchestra program calendar is maintained on a Google Calendar. You can access it via the Calendar link on the sidebar of this web site. You can also include the events from this calendar on your own Google calendar by clicking on the "Subscribe with Google Calendar" link on the bottom of the calendar page. That way, you can manage your own events on your calendar and the events from the band/orchestra calendar will appear automatically.
